Kuhan Mahendraraj, BA, MS

Kuhan is the BSSC Research Foundation Manager. He graduated from Hamilton College as a pre-medical student with a BA in Hispanic Studies and a minor in Biology and an MS in Biomedical Sciences at Tufts University School of Medicine. He began his career at BSSC as a medical assistant in 2018, and transitioned to be the research assistant for Dr. Andrew Jawa in 2019. As a researcher, he has worked with the Taub Institute of Columbia University Medical Center performing Alzheimer’s Disease research, has 17 publications, and has presented at regional orthopedic conferences. As the BSSC RF Manager, Kuhan is responsible for streamlining research, building institutional frameworks, and designing fundraising initiatives.
