Taking Research to a New Level!

Matt Veale, previous research assistant at the BSSC Research Foundation and current first year medical student at New York Medical College, was recently accepted to present two of his research projects at the Orthopedic Summit 2022 this September. Matt collaborated with shoulder surgeons Dr. Alan Curtis and Dr. Jacob Kirsch on Arthroscopic In-Situ Biceps Tenodesis for the Treatment of Massive Irreparable Rotator Cuff Tears, as well as foot and ankle surgeons Dr. Mark Slovenkai and Dr. Kurt Hofmann on Fixed Bearing Total Ankle Arthroplasty: Clinical Results at a Mean of 11 Years. Matt will be presenting his findings to a large panel of surgeons and other healthcare professionals at Encore Casino this fall.
